JAMMU, Aug 17: Unidentified thieves struck a temple here at Nai Basti area and decamped with gold ornaments and cash.
Between 3:30 PM to 4 PM, unidentified thieves barged into Shiv Shambu Temple at Nai Basti area and stole two gold rings adorned by the temple deities and some cash from the donation box, a police official said.
According to him, on the complaint of one Shiv Kumar Sharma son of Mangat Ram Sharma of House number 169, Nai Basti, Gandhi Nagar, a case FIR number 183/2025 under sections 331(4)/305 BNS has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and further investigation taken up.
