‘THE – SARA’ distributes bags, stationery to flood hit children

JAMMU, May 27: In a compassionate effort to support children hit by recent flash floods at village Dharamkund in Ramban, ‘THE – SARA’, a registered NGO under its ‘Crisis Support Mission’ conducted school bag and stationery distribution drive at Government Middle School Dharamkund, Ramban.
The initiative was to help children resume their education after losing essential learning materials during the recent flash floods that recently disrupted life in the region. During the event, ‘THE – SARA’ distributed school bags and stationery kits to eighteen students, bringing much-needed relief and encouragement to local families. Each student received a school bag containing notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers and sharpeners.
The distribution took place in the presence of Shakil Ganai, In-charge GMS Dharamkund and school staff, Mohd. Tahir, Ex-Sarpanch Haroog, Khurshad Ahmed Shan, field volunteer and community members.
