Thakur Randhir Singh , EPTJAC welcome abrogation of Art 370

JAMMU, Aug 11: Former Minister and national president, Aromatic Plants Growers Association of India, Thakur Randhir Singh today said that Article 370 which had given special powers to J&K State should have been abrogated much earlier.
Thakur Randhir Singh, who is the founder member of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in J&K said that he never supported the stand taken by NCP chief, Sharad Pawar who opposed the abrogation of Article 370. He said moreover he never supported the appointment of interlocutors on Kashmir by Congress from time to time as they were responsible for encouraging anti national forces in Kashmir and he never met the interlocutors who played negative role in Kashmir.
Evacuee Property Tenants Joint Action Committee (EPTJAC) in a meeting here, today held under the leadership of Mian Nazir Ahmed its chairman congratulated the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Home Minister, Amit Shah and Union Minister , Dr Jitendra Singh for abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A from J&K. They also demanded that EP Department be abolished and ownership rights be given to the poor tenants who are living in evacuees’ houses for last 72 years.
President of the Committee, Ajay Gupta and its general secretary, Rattan Lal also addressed the meeting.
