Thakur gets extension as ONGC CVO

JAMMU, Apr 18: Ranjan Prakash Thakur, a senior officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), has been given an extension in his current role as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC), Delhi.

Thakur had earlier served as the Principal Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department during his deputation to the Jammu and Kashmir administration.
As per an official order, his deputation tenure has now been extended until August 31, 2026, which coincides with his date of superannuation, or until further instructions-whichever comes earlier.
