NOWSHERA, Sept 3: Seven persons were injured in a head on collision between two vehicles here today. As per sources a passenger vehicle of Tempo Traveller make bearing registration number JK02BW 0195 moving from Jammu to Rajouri collided with a truck bearing registration number JK01AK 0979, which was on its way from Srinagar to Jammu leaving seven persons injured.
The injured were Bimla Devi, 45, wife of Chain Singh, resident of Sarsote; Sanesh Singh, 23, son of Chain Singh, resident of Sarsote; Suresh Singh, 25, son of Baldev Singh, resident of Sarsote; Mohd Wasim, 22, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Balmat Kote; Abdul Rashid, 40, son of Abdul Wahab, resident of Tuli; Jaan Mohd, 77, son of Mohd Din, resident of Lower Kuli and Sudesh Singh, 20, son of Janak Singh, resident of Chasana.
All the injured were shifted to Nowshera Hospital by the local Police led by SHO Nowshera, Inspector Arjun Magotra and they were stable till last reports. Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
