Tehran expects to resolve gas supplies issue from Russia: Deputy Minister

MOSCOW, Oct 17: Tehran expects to resolve the issue of Russian natural gas supplies soon, Iranian Deputy Petroleum Minister Omid Shakeri told Sputnik on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week.
“We are currently discussing this issue. I hope we will reach a result soon. We are currently holding talks,” he said when asked whether Tehran and Moscow had reached an agreement on the price of Russian gas to be supplied to Iran.
Earlier, Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali, as reported by the Tasnim news agency, said that all issues, except for the price, had been resolved. According to him, deliveries should begin within a few months. RIA Novosti is an information partner of the 2025 Russian Energy Week, which is taking place in Moscow on October.
