JAMMU, June 18: A teenager from Udhampur’s Ramnagar area was found hanging at his rented accommodation here at Rehari Colony area today.
Akshay Sharma (18) son of Ramesh Sharma of Kela area in Ramnagar tehsil of Udhampur district, who was living along with his two siblings in Rehari Colony area, was found hanging with a ceiling fan at his current accommodation, a police official said.
He said after getting the information, the body was shifted to Government Medical College Jammu for post-mortem examination.
According to him, inquest proceedings have also been initiated to ascertain the reasons as to why the teenager took such an extreme step to end his life.
