UDHAMPUR, June 13: A teenage boy committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his house in village Chakhar, under the jurisdiction of Tikri Police Station.
The deceased was identified as Rovin Singh (18) son of Kuldeep Singh. He consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances and fell unconscious. The family members shifted him to District Hospital Udhampur where he breathed his last despite hectic efforts by the doctors.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
