UDHAMPUR, Feb 23: A teenaged boy committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree near his house at village Badola in Rehambal Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Nikhil (18), son of Krishan Lal of Badola. He was found hanging from tree under mysterious circumstances. Some locals spotted the body hanging from the tree and informed the family members as well as the Police.
Rehambal Police shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem. Besides, a case was also registered for further investigation in this regard.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
