UDHAMPUR, Dec 19: A 17-year-old boy was found hanging under mysterious circumstances at Main Bazar, Udhampur, today.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Akshin, son of Om Parkash, a resident of Chilla Mansar in Samba district, presently residing in a rented accommodation at Main Bazar, Udhampur. He was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook inside the house.
Family members, upon noticing the incident, immediately informed the police. A police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem.
Police have taken cognizance and started investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident.
