Srinagar June 3: Law students of Kashmir University are facing difficulty in filling their admissions forms online owing to the failure of the administration to resolve a technical glitch.
The students complained that they are unable to submit their forms despite repeated attempts, “there only 7- subjects in a semester but the software demands entry of eight subjects. It declares every form as incomplete and rejects it,” a 3rd-semester student said.
The students alleged that the administration’s failure to rectify this problem delays the whole admission process. “Last time, our admission got delayed by three months. As the last date is nearing the admission process is likely to face delays this year as well. The problem has been created by officials of the department, whether wittingly or unwittingly,” another student said.
The students accused the administration of showing indifference towards their issue. The administration has not resolved the issue despite multiple requests. This callous attitude of the administration is affecting the psyche of the students,” another student said.
The students further said the issue has been brought to the notice of the HoD, and the coordinator of the department, but nothing has been done so far.
