JAMMU, Mar 30: The SAKSHAM team of district Reasi today met Director Health Services Jammu Dr Rakesh Magotra and apprised him of the work done by them in district Reasi.
The SAKSHAM team along with State joint secretary Daleep Singh, had a threadbare discussion with Director of Health Services at his office in Jammu. The discussion revolved around the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), which serves Divyaang individuals and the general public in district Reasi.
The Director Health Services was informed that the SAKSHAM has conducted numerous free eye checkup camps in district Reasi, identifying 300 cataract patients through MMU screenings in various areas. He was further informed that the SAKSHAM team has already performed 20 cataract operations in collaboration with the Health Department at the District Hospital.
The team SAKSHAM also apprised the Director that they are now planning to conduct more cataract operations at the District Hospital Reasi in the future.
Director Health Services assured the SAKSHAM team of successful cataract operations through collaborative programs in district Reasi.
