Team of short film “Shav Se Shiv” meets LG Sinha

JAMMU, Mar 16: The team of short movie, ‘Shav Se Shiv’ viz. Kimti Manawa (Actor, Director, Writer, Producer of Shav Se Shiv & Owner of Shree KB Films), Hardik Manawa (Actor, Co-Director & Co-Producer), Koshal Kumar (Voiceover Artist) met with LG Manoj Sinha, here today.
During their meeting, the team members submit a proposal on screening their short film in various universities, colleges and schools of J&K.
‘Shav Se Shiv’ is a religious fictional thriller focused on imparting teachings of Sanatan Dharma in the modern world.
The said teachings are inspired directly from the Puranas.
The film has been shot exclusively in J&K and features majority of artists from the Jammu region namely Kimti Manawa, Hardik Manawa, Smriti Sharma, Janvi Kohli and Kanish Kohli.
The film has been declared as a month winner by Caravan International Film Festival and has acquired Finalist in Category “Best Film on Religion” and selected as nominee in the category “Short Film”.
Further, it has also been officially selected to be a part of 10th NEZ International Film Festival, Indian Independent Film Festival and Spotlight Short Film Competition, competing with several critically acclaimed national and international projects.
The film was released on Youtube channel of Shree KB Films on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri i.e. Feb 26, 2025 and has received thunderous response with 90,000+ Views with the concept, novelty and production quality of the film liked by the audience at large.
The movie also features a Shiv Bhajan (with captivating visuals of Shiv Linga Puja) namely “Shambhu Stuti” coined by Bhagwan Shri Ram in praise of Bhagwan Shiv as mentioned in Brahma Mahapurana.
The Sanskrit Stuti has been sung beautifully by a Jammu based Singer Aditya Rao and composed by iMusic Studio (Varun Kumar & Sumita Bhat).
