JAMMU, Aug 23: A meeting of General Line Teachers Forum was held under the chairmanship of Neeraj Sharma for discussing the prevailing scenario in the School Education Department.
The meet took a serious note of recent transfers in the Education Department without following any rule and norms. Further, ReTs are being transferred from Khour, Chowki Choura, Jourian and other areas to Jammu City with the motive to create space for recruiting more ReT in violation of the scheme, the Forum alleged.
The meet also demanded adjustment of the teachers deployed or attached with the CEO office Jammu for the last six to eight month.
The Forum appealed the Chief Minister to personally look into the matter and take necessary action.
