Teachers apprise Secretary School Education about their issues

JAMMU, Dec 1: A deputation of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation called on Commissioner Secretary School Education and discussed the problems being faced by the teachers as well as students.
The deputation, led by Bhushan S Verma, Mohan Singh and Maheshwar Prasad, conveyed its serious concern over unprecedented delay in release of salary of teachers and Master working under SSA and RMSA.
The Federation drew attention of the Commissioner Secretary towards the promotion case of Science Lecturers and condemned the authorities for being insensitive towards other issues.
The Federation also demanded regularization of ZEOs and other cadre working as incharge in the Department for last ten years, initial higher start for the teachers appointed before March 1992, adjustment of the newly promoted Master and Lecturers, etc.
The Commissioner Secretary gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to look into all the issues for positive consideration.
The deputation comprised of Mohan Singh, Dr Vijay Kumar, Raj Rani, Rawa Rani, Hari Chand, Rampal Saini, Sunita Sani, Madan Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Prithvi Raj Sharma, Varinder Sharma, Kulbhushan Sharma, Raj Kumar and others.
