RAJOURI, Oct 18: A Government teacher was placed under suspension for allegedly assaulting a minor student in Dandesar Zone of district Rajouri today.
Reports said taking serious note of an alleged case of assault on a minor student, Chief Education Officer Rajouri, Mohammad Hafiz, has ordered the immediate suspension of Brajesh Kumar, teacher at Middle School Behar Gala, falling under Zone Dandesar.
The matter came to light after allegations surfaced regarding the teacher’s misconduct with a minor student. Acting swiftly, the Education Department initiated action, placing the teacher under suspension pending further inquiry.
Meanwhile, the Rajouri Police have registered a case under FIR No. 519 at Police Station Rajouri, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
