TCS ranked as the Top Employer in Europe

MUMBAI, Mar 29:  Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT
services, consulting and business solutions firm, announced that it
has been ranked as number 1 Top employer in Europe for 2013, by the
CRF (Conditional random Field) Institute.
TCS was chosen as first among the final 20 companies participating at a continental level.
In order to reach the continental level, each company was required to have been previously certified at a Top employer in at
least 5 individual countries in Europe. The final group of 20 companies had participated at a national level in 26 European countries with their 129 certified subsidiaries. In national rounds,
TCS had been adjudged a Top employer for the first time in Belgium,
Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland, while its UK unit secured the
certification for a third year in a row.
The Top employer certification, based on independent research done
by the CRF Institute and audited by Grant Thornton, demonstrated that TCS performed exceptionally well across all key areas of HR practice. In particular, the survey recognized TCS’ contribution in
the categories related to outstanding Working Conditions, Training
and Development, Career development, Cultural Management and Company
Culture.
