JAMMU, Nov 9: Prof Manoj Kumar of Flame University, Pune (former professor IIM Lucknow and Rohtak), delivered a talk to the students of The Business School, University of Jammu on ‘Accounting cycle’.
He covered the entire accounting cycle starting from generalizing to preparation of Final Accounts with a variety of real life financial transactions of typical trading and manufacturing entities. He also encouraged students to supplement their classroom learnings through participation in free Massive Online Courses (MOCs) of best universities. He further stressed that today’s students need to make best utilization of Internet learning resources available to them. In this regard use of networking sites to enhance ones learning and professional relationships for a faster career growth was stressed.
