MUMBAI, Apr 10: Tata Steel, Indian multinational steel-making company said that its production was up by 14 per cent for the year ended March 31, 2013.
The production of crude steel and saleable steel advanced by 14 per cent in financial year 2012-2013.
The company produced 8.8 million tonne of crude steel in the given year and saleable steel production stood at 7.9 million tonne
as comapre to 6.9 million tonne in the previous year.
The sales of flat steel rallied by 20 per cent, at 4.49 million
tonne, a company release said.
