JAMMU, Jan 29: The Government of India has granted Non-Functional Selection Grade (NFSG) to 6 officers of the Indian Information Service (IIS) Group ‘A’, including Tariq Ahmed Rather, with effect from January 1, 2026.
As per an order issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the officers have been placed in the Junior Administrative Grade (Non-Functional Selection Grade) in Level 13 of the 7th Pay Matrix.
The officers include Ashutosh Mohle, presently posted at PRGI, New Delhi, Ajay Joy of Doordarshan Kendra Thiruvananthapuram, Joyce Philip, posted as OSD in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Mahar Singh, serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs on central deputation, Anubhav Singh, OSD in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and Tariq Ahmed Rather, currently posted at the Regional News Unit of All India Radio, Srinagar.
