SRINAGAR, Nov 18: MLA Zadibal and chief spokesperson of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, Tanvir Sadiq laid the foundation stone for a major drainage network in Alamgiri Bazar in the Zadibal constituency, here today.
The project taken up at a cost of Rs 76 lakh will cater to a large stretch of the Shehr-e-Khaas area, significantly improving local infrastructure.
Speaking on the occasion, Tanvir Sadiq reaffirmed his strong commitment to the people of Zadibal, assuring that all essential works in the area will be completed in a time-bound manner.
“Several major development projects are scheduled to begin in the coming weeks,” he said.
The MLA expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his continuous support in ensuring that Srinagar is developed and beautified in the right and sustainable manner.
Executive Engineer UEED, Shoaib Ahmad, AEE Danish and other officials were also present during the ceremony.
