Talent hunt in cricket conducted at KC Sports Club

Jammu, Nov 10: With a view to identifying exceptionally talented Cricketers from Jammu and offering them the opportunity to sharpen their skills further, a Talent Hunt in Cricket was conducted at the spacious indoor Cricket Hall of KC Sports Club on Sunday, November 9. 53 players in the age group 10-17 invited from various schools and Cricket Clubs of Jammu took part in the contest.
The contestants were judged by a panel of observers on the basis of various parameters set by the selection committee. All the participants took the contest seriously and tried their best to exhibit their talent, particularly in batting.  The range of really gifted players in view was so vast that the selectors had a trying time to make the final decision.
Eventually two batsmen, namely, Yuvraj Saini of Delhi Public School Jammu and Shryans Manhas of J P World School were declared winners of the contest. While declaring the results, Arjun Chowdhary, MD of the Club, said that free coaching at the Club would be provided to the selected players.
