JAMMU, Dec 29: Chief spokesperson Mahila Morcha J&K UT, Ritika Trehan today asked people to take advantage of various public welfare schmes launched by Modi Government in the country.
While interacting with people of Channi near here, today as a part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra she said the Yatra is reaching every nook and corner of J&K. In addition to spreading awareness on Central Government schemes, various “Jan Bhagidari” events are also being conducted as part of the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritika said vision of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is that nobody should be left behind and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will be helpful in achieving this goal. In that context, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been organised as a project for the saturation of all schemes because the Prime Minister believes that 100% of the beneficiaries should be covered. This is the largest-ever endeavour to reach all the Gram Panchayats of the country. More than 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats will be covered over two months with an IEC van, and several departments participating. Seventeen schemes have been identified for rural areas and 17 different schemes for urban areas, which will be the focus of this particular yatra, added Ritika.
