JAMMU, Mar 29: The Government today sanctioned for the constitution of Technical Appraisal Committee (TAC) for the implementation of internet connectivity for CCTNS project in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
An order in this regard was issued by Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, Sanjeev Verma.
As per the order issued, Mohammad Saleem Khan, State Informatics Officer, NIC has been appointed as the Chairman of Committee.
The other members of the Committee are Dr Javaid Iqbal, Associate Professor/Director, IT and SS, Islamic University of Science and Technology, Zakir Ahmada, Assistant Professor, Central University, Jammu, and Puneet Kant, Senior Consultant, State e-Mission Team (SeMT).
The committee will provide technical vetting of the RFP and give recommendations regarding the provisions proposed in RFP.
It will give its recommendations/suggestions on the viability of the proposed solution in the RFP and will also ensure strict compliance to all rules, procedures, guidelines issued by the Government from time to time while vetting the RFP.
