NEW DELHI : External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today met her Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu here and discussed a range of bilateral issues. “In addition to bilateral issues, the two Ministers also discussed regional and international subjects,” the External Affairs Ministry said in a statement. Ms Swaraj had earlier been invited by the Turkish Foreign Minister to address the seventh Turkish Ambassadors conference but was unable to go due to her commitments related to the Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas.
The present visit, undertaken soon thereafter, is intended to give an impetus to bilateral relations. (AGENCIES)
