HARIDWAR, Jan 27: On 77th Republic Day of the country, chief of the Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust, Swami Ramdev and general secretary, Acharya Balrkishan unfurled the National Flag at Patanjali Wellness Centre and extended greetings to the people of the country.
On this occasion, Swami stressed on five points-indigenous education, indigenous medical systems, indigenous economy, following Sanatan living style and dependence on indigenous things to make the nation strong and progressive.
Swami said that today our country is facing tariff terrorism, somewhere there are power issues and somewhere property disputes exist while religious issues are things of dispute at many place and above all the followers of Sanatan Dharam are divided largely.
“Under these circumstances if we have to make our country strong and prosperous, we should remain strict to indigenous things,” he maintained urging the countrymen to boycott the education system of Lord Macaulay and start using the country-made things.
The Yoga Guru further urged the people of the country to shun in-fights and boycott the foreign companies to make the Indian rupee strong before the US Dollar.
“If all the 140 crore Indians work hard, the US Dollar will soon be devalued and one rupee will equal 100 US Dollars,” he continued.
Swami Ramdev urged upon unity at home to defeat the forces like Pakistan and Bangladesh.
On this occasion, Acharya Balkrishan said that Republic Day teaches us many things.
“Whenever we feel weak, we should remember those bold freedom-fighters, martyrs and other great personalities whose sacrifices provided us independence,” he said adding: “We should life for big targets and living for petty objectives is not a life.”
