JAMMU, July 24: Global Inspiration Enlightenment Organisation for Bhagwad Gita (GIEO) Gita Gyan Sansthanam here today organised a programme to enlighten the masses on the wisdom of Bhagwat Gita.
On this occasion Mahamandaleshwar Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj, renowned spiritual leader delivered sermons on Bhagavad Gita.
The event began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by senior BJP leader and MLA, Sham Lal Sharma.
He highlighted the eternal relevance of Gita in today’s world and emphasized the importance of introducing the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to the youth of Bharat.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were MLA Akhnoor, Mohan Lal Bhagat; president Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Parshotam Dadichi; RSS Prant Seh Karyawah, Ajay; RSS leader, Gagan; Bharat Vikas Parishad’s, Amita; former JMC Mayor, Rajinder Sharma; vice president VHP, Shakti Dutt; president Gau Raksha Samiti, Raj Kumar and others.
In his spiritual sermons, Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj stated that Gita is not only a religious scripture but a universal guide for humanity that offers profound insights into righteous living, emotional strength and self-realization.
He called upon everyone to live a life rooted in righteousness, discipline, high morals and service to the society.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by the Ravish Mengi, vice president of GIEO Gita Gyan Sansthanam, J&K.
He said that their organising committee including Chetan Wanchoo, president; Ankush Sharma and Atul Sharma, general secretaries; Tejas Thussu and Aditya Pandita, media secretaries ensured success of the event.
