Srinagar, July 15: Vigilance Organisation produced the challan against Abdul Rahim Hajam, the then JE, R&B, Special Sub Division (SSD) Uri before the Court of Addl. District and Sessions Judge Baramulla after receiving sanction for prosecution from the competent authority.
The accused then posted as JE, R&B, Special Sub Division Uri in the year 2012 was caught red handed while demanding and accepting an amount of Rs.5000 as illegal gratification from the complainant Mohammad Maqbool Mir R/o Pehlipora Baramulla for the processing of bill on account of work executed by him.
After completing investigation, Vigilance Organisation presented chargesheet before the competent court on 14.07.2014.
