JAMMU, March 10: Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission (SVMM) Charitable Hospital, Ambphalla here today organized a free health check-up camp in collaboration with Abbott India Ltd and P&G Health.
During camp, free Vitamin D3 testing was done with the support of Abbott India Ltd while Haemoglobin testing was done by P&G Health.
A large number of people from the adjoining areas and staff members benefitted from the free-of-cost tests and other facilities provided by the hospital.
The camp was organized in the presence of Management Committee of SVMM including Amar Chand Gupta, president; B.B Gupta, general secretary; B.S Jamwal, secretary and Subash Chander Gupta, Member.
The hospital administration was represented by Dr. Arvind Kohli, Medical Director and Dr. Rabinder Rattan Pal, Medical Superintendent.
The camp was supervised by Dr. Rajesh Gandotra, Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon and Dr. Sham Jurangal, who also guided patients regarding bone health and related issues.
On this occasion, Amar Chand Gupta, president SVMM, highlighted that the institution is committed to serve the society with the principle of ‘Nar Seva, Narayan Seva’.
Dr. Arvind Kohli, Medical Director, appreciated the support of Abbott India Ltd and P&G Health.
Dr. Rajesh Gandotra and Dr. Sham Jurangal emphasized the importance of timely health screening, particularly for Vitamin D deficiency and anaemia.
The arrangements and coordination of the camp were managed by Pawan Sharma, Liaison Officer SVMM.
The hospital management expressed gratitude to Sanjay and Kajal Mehra from P&G Health and Sonia from Abbott for their support in organizing the camp.
