Suse, Santosh relieved; Rakesh, Donk posted DCs Kargil, Leh

LEH, June 18: In a minor administrative reshuffle in Ladakh, Rakesh Kumar has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Kargil, replacing Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, who has been relieved and directed to report to the Chief Secretary, UT of Jammu and Kashmir, for further posting.

Similarly, Romil Singh Donk, who was serving as Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner Leh, replacing Santosh G Sukhadeve, who will now report to the Chief Secretary, Government of Goa.
An order issued in this context by Michael M D’Souza, Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department, UT of Ladakh, read, “Rakesh Kumar, the 2021 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, awaiting orders of adjustment is hereby transferred and posted as DC Kargil vice Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, who stands relieved of his duties from UT of Ladakh and is directed to report to the office of Chief Secretary, UT of Jammu and Kashmir for further posting.”
The order further said, “Romil Singh Donk, the 2021 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, SDM Zanskar, is hereby transferred and posted as DC Leh vice Santosh G Sukhadeve, who stands relieved of his duties from UT of Ladakh and is directed to report to the office of Chief Secretary of Goa for further posting.”
Pertinently, Rakesh Kumar joined the Administration of UT of Ladakh recently on June 10, 2025.
