Sun Pharma campus drive offers industry exposure to CUJ students

JAMMU, Jan 31: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd conducted a campus placement drive for final-year students of the Department of Chemistry at the Central University of Jammu (CUJ) today.
The drive was organised by the Training and Placement Office of the university under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor, Prof Sanjeev Jain.
The recruitment process was led by Kamlesh, HR Head, Sun Pharma, along with his team.
Students of the M.Sc. Chemistry programme were assessed on parameters relevant to the pharmaceutical and chemistry sector.
After the interaction and evaluation, a few candidates were shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
The drive provided students with valuable exposure to industry expectations and recruitment procedures.
Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr Sujata Kundan, along with faculty members, was present during the drive.
Training and Placement Officer Viraj Magotra encouraged students to take full advantage of campus placement opportunities.
Pertinently, the M.Sc. Chemistry programme at CUJ has been attracting growing attention due to its industry-oriented curriculum and focus on practical learning.
