JAMMU, May 21: Suman Gupta, Nationally and Internationally reputed artist belonging to J&K State, has been invited by Finnish Cultural Center to exhibit his latest series of art works in Finland.
The mega show is being organized by the “Poleeni Cultural Center” in the city of Pieksamaki in which only two artists has been chosen to show their works in the massive galleries of the centre, where each artist shall be displaying some ten to fifteen art works in a two and a half month long show.
Poleeni Cultural Center invites artists from different parts of the world to showcase their artefacts. Suman Gupta is the sole artist representing India along with an artist from Finland. The show titled “Lahelta Ja Kaukaa “which means “Near and Far “shall open on June 3 and remain open till August 14.
