JAMMU, Apr 21: Former Minister and BJP MLA from Marh constituency, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar today inaugurated transformer at village Chak Jaffer.
While speaking, MLA said that these areas have been facing power crisis from the past several years and they also face long hours of power cuts in their areas, so for fulfilling demands of the locals of the area such step have been taken in order to eradicate the crisis of power from these areas.
He stated that there is a dire requirement of more than 100 transformers in Marh constituency and he is trying his level best to eradicate the power crisis.
“To overcome the shortage of power supply in areas of Jammu West, many new transformers are going to be installed under the Centrally sponsored scheme R-APDRP and wherever necessary, he will also contribute from his CDF”, he said, adding that State PDD is also working hard to replace many old transformers with new ones for which they have already started establishing new lines in many areas in order to eradicate this problem.
After the inauguration, a public meet was also conducted by the MLA wherein residents put forth their grievances including construction of lanes and drains in their areas and installation of street lights.
MLA assured that their other demands will also be met soon as he is committed to provide every possible help to residents of Marh constituency at their doorsteps.
