JAMMU, Dec 25: Submariner Sandeep Gupta (Retd), Director of Doon Defence Academy (DDA), has been honoured with the title of “Best Defence Mentor in India” at the Global Leadership 2025 ceremony held in Delhi.
The award recognises Gupta’s long-standing dedication to training and guiding young aspirants for a career in the Indian defence forces.
A statement said the honour was presented by former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev.
“This recognition highlights the national importance of DDA’s contribution to future leadership in the defense sector,” the statement said.
During the ceremony, Sandeep Gupta was joined by his son, Eklavya Gupta, CEO of Trishakti Youth Hub, reflecting their strong family-led commitment to youth and defence training.
