Many such students were seen at General Bus Stand Jammu and Jammu Tawi Railway Station waiting for the transportation which may shift them to their homes.
Priya, a student from border district Rajouri was standing at General Bus Stand Jammu waiting for a bus to return home along with her other friends.
She said that last night she witnessed the attack for the first time in her life as earlier they only heard it from elders.
Her friend said that she really felt proud of Indian Air Force which foiled the last night missile-drone attack.
“Now we understood the meaning of protective shield behind us because of which we sleep comfortably in our home,” she maintained.
Tokeer Manhas, a law student at University of Jammu, also from Rajouri-Poonch area said they contacted the elected representatives of their areas but nothing positive emerged.
“We expected our elected representatives to at least arrange some transportation for us so that we may reach our homes safely but they not even attended our phone calls,” he claimed.
More students informed that they want to remain with their families in this tough time and urged the administration for help to shift them to their homes.
Similarly, workers and labourers from other States earning their livelihood in J&K were also seen boarding inter-state buses and trains to reach their homes in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and other States.
There was another group of people who moved to certain places like Shimla and other such places in order to ensure safety to their lives from Pakistani attack during the ongoing escalation.
