SRINAGAR, Apr 3: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, general secretary Ali Mohd Sagar today emphasized the importance of a strong organizational structure and unwavering support from people as key to success in the upcoming ULB and Panchayat elections.
Sagar expressed confidence in the party’s readiness to overcome any challenge with the solid backing by the people.
He made these remarks during meeting with various public and individual delegations at the party headquarters, Srinagar today.
The discussions revolved around organizational strategies and detailed plans for the upcoming elections.
Addressing the party functionaries who had called on him at the party office, Sagar highlighted the significance of a robust organizational setup and the unwavering support of the people in breaking the political deadlock in Jammu and Kashmir.
He commended the people for their active participation in previous elections, which resulted in a resounding victory for the National Conference.
Sagar emphasized that the upcoming local body elections will further strengthen democracy in the region. “People demand transparency in governance, access to essential services, and a voice in decision-making processes.
These are the changes they have witnessed following the elections,” Sagar said adding, “As a responsible party with a strong presence across the region, we cannot allow the BJP and its allies to dominate the democratic landscape.”
