JAMMU, Nov 18: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today asked the BJP cadre to strengthen the party at booth level to ensure resounding victory in all the ensuing political battles in the Union Territory especially the Assembly polls.
He said this while chairing party’s Gandhi Nagar Mandal meeting which was convened after the significant State Working Committee meeting held recently. The meeting was presided over by district president, Vinay Gupta.
Kavinder asked the party cadre to strengthen the organization from the booth-level, and reach out to prospective voters from all segments and age-groups thus making sure that at least over 50 percent voters should support the party in every booth in the Gandhi Nagar Mandal. He laid stress on strengthening organizational setup to the hilt so that the party’s triumph at all the political contests could be ensured in the coming future.
The senior BJP leader categorically laid stress on making it possible that PM’s Mann Ki Baat becomes a regular feature in booth level activities with maximum number of people joining the programme to listen to what PM Narendra Modi has to say to the country for its ultimate benefit and progress.
He asked the booth level workers to disseminate information about Modi Government’s flagship schemes among the common masses so that doubts if any can be warded off timely leaving no scope for the opposition parties to take undue benefits by swaying people by misleading them.
Kavinder said that it is important to bring the voter to the polling booth and efforts should be made by the party workers to meet this challenge with utmost ease through strong resolve and conviction. He also said that there is a need to strengthen the support base and take it to another level in the ensuing poll season.
District president, Vinay Gupta also emphasized on strengthening BJP at the grassroots level. He said that ground level workers are the real ambassadors of the party as their efforts can prove to be the game changer especially to get favourable results in elections.
Among others who were present included Ankush Gupta district general secretary, Mandal president, Neeraj Puri, Nayan Gupta and Surjit Singh Sonu and Mandal general secretaries.
