Stray dogs leave 4 people wounded

Srinagar, Dec 17: Stray dogs today wounded at least four people in Hangah Mawer area of Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Those injured have been identified as Hafeeza Begum (27), wife of Ishfaq Ahmad Parray; Asma Shabir (3), daughter of Shabir Ahmad Bhat; Farhat Ahmad Ganie (13), son Mohammad Ayub Ganie and Safeena Begum (29), wife of Lateef Ahmad Rather.
All are said to be the residents of Sadergund Hangah and were immediately taken to District Hospital Handwara for treatment.
The officials at the hospital said that they received a few people with dog bites and have been treated for the same immediately.
