RAMBAN, Mar 6: Police today recovered a stolen vehicle during naka checking at Patnitop.
According to police sources, during naka checking at Patnitop, a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK14B- 5264 was signaled to stop but the driver of the vehicle accelerated the vehicle. The police personnel deployed at naka chased the vehicle and found it abandoned near Hotel Greenland on NHW.
During the investigation, it has been established that the vehicle was stolen from Dudu area in Udhampur district. Accordingly, the concerned police station was contacted for further course of action.
The stolen vehicle was recovered by police team led by SI Sudesh Sharma, IC PP Patnitop in close coordination with Inspector Sameer Jeelani, SHO PS Batote under the supervision of Rafiq Choudhary, Deputy SP Hqrs, Ramban and Randeep Kumar, SSP Ramban.
