JAMMU, Feb 5: Steel bridge on river Chenab at Akhnoor has been closed for vehicular traffic for four days.
Official sources said that the bridge was closed for traffic in view of necessary repair work to be executed by the BRO authorities on Wednesday. It will be made operational from Sunday (February 7) onwards. All the vehicles moving to Rajouri, Poonch, Nowshera, Akhnoor, Jourian and Pallanwalla have been diverted to the new bridge on bypass road.
