JAMMU, May 21: All India State Pensioners Federation has demanded release of pending Dearness Relief of January 2020, July 2020 and January 2021 with retrospective effect and payment of arrears by all the State Governments.
The Federation has also demanded restoration of commuted pension after 12 years instead of 15 years at present, grant of fixed Medical Allowance of Rs 1000 to all the State Government pensioners, implementation of cashless Medical treatment, abolition of new pension scheme, one rank one pension for all, abolition of Income Tax to pensioners, grant of one month pension towards pilgrimage allowance after retirement etc.
The Federation also demanded that December 17 every year should be declared as Pensioners Day besides Governments duly constituting Pension Advisory Committees at State and District level.
