JAMMU, Mar 29: St Xavier Senior Secondary School, Barnai celebrated its 18th annual day-cum-prize distribution function at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, Jammu University here today.
Director Doordarshan Kendra, Jammu Anjali Sharma was the chief guest while Rev Father Udhay Singh of St Paul’s Church, Jammu was the guest of honour.
The function started with the lighting of traditional lamp after which Rev Father blessed the gathering and prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the school.
Songs and dance items including patriotic songs were sung by students, which were highly appreciated by the audience with thundering applauses.
Director of the school HR Padha presented annual report highlighting the achievement of the students in academic as well as extra curricular activities.
The vote of thanks was presented by Principal of the School Pankaj Vihans.
