SRINAGAR, Nov 13: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Rural Kashmir, Ravinder Pal Singh today visited different areas of Baramulla district and conducted a special drive to contain accidents on the Baramulla-Uri National Highway.
The SSP said that a special drive was conducted to instil awareness among the people and deter traffic violators from breaching the set rules. He said the drive was conducted against violators, particularly triple riders, stunt bikers, and minors, which are three big challenges before Traffic Police at the moment. Click here to watch video
SSP Traffic, along with Dy. SP Traffic North Mujahid Nazir booked dozens of violators who were flouting the rules on this highway.
SSP requested parents not allow their children to drive and warned of strict action against the parents whose children would be found involved in any traffic violations.
