JAMMU, Mar 22: Mohan Lal Kaith, SSP Railways Jammu today held a darbar of jawans and officers of GRP Jammu which was attended by all GOs and other jawans of GRP Jammu.
At the outset of the darbar, ample opportunity was provided to the officers and jawans to put forth their grievances related to their duties and welfare. Kaith assured them that their genuine grievances shall be redressed on priority. He told the jawans and officers to give maximum emphasis on the public friendly behavior while dealing with the passengers.
He told the officers and jawans to identify the sick, aged, handicapped and needy passengers and render all kind of help to them at Railway station Jammu and also at other Railway stations of GRP Jammu.
The Jawans on duty should facilitate all these needy passengers to board their respective trains smoothly.
The SSP Railways told the jawans that that their good work will be appreciated by granting special cash rewards in their favour. He stressed the jawans to be proper uniform while on duty.
Soon after conclusion of the darbar, the SSP Railways Inspected Kote, barracks of jawans, store and other establishments of GRP Lines Jammu. On the spot directions were given for overall improvement in the functioning of GRP Jammu.
