SSP reviews functioning of Traffic Police

JAMMU, May 7: In a meeting SSP Traffic Jammu, Dr. Koshal Sharma here today reviewed the functioning of Traffic Police City with officers of Traffic Police City Jammu.
Raj Pal Singh, Addl SP Traffic City Jammu; Neeraj Paddyar, DySP (T) City Rural; Bikram Kumar, DySP (T) City South; Nishad Farhat DySP (T) city north and others were also present in the meeting.
The SSP stressed upon the officers to take all necessary measures to remove wrongly parked vehicles around bus stand, Hari Market, Shalamar etc.
He said that no violator especially without helmets, seat belt, DL, rash driving, overloading, overcharging should be spared.
“Ahead of tourist season all officers must ensures no traffic jamming in the city,” said Rajpal Singh, ASP Traffic City Jammu.
Discussions were held on general traffic functioning, backlog verifications and their disposal, day-to-day challans work etc.
The participants in the meeting apprised the SSP about various issues and problems which should be solved to ensure better traffic regulation and management in coming weeks.
The meeting ended with resolve to use technology, education and enforcement in traffic police.
The SSP traffic advised the officers to work with utmost honesty and dedication.
