DODA, June 10: SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta here today visited far off Bal Padri area to review the existing security measures.
He also interacted with local stakeholders. It is pertinent to mention here that Padri area of Bhaderwah borders Himachal Pradesh.
During visit, the SSP held interaction with nomads and shopkeepers. He assessed the deployment of security personnel and reviewed patrol strategies and issued directions to enhance security, maintain law and order and address emerging challenges.
He was accompanied by Additional SP Bhaderwah Vinod Kumar, SDPO Bhaderwah Shokat Ali and other officers.
Following the visit, the SSP held a comprehensive crime meeting with officers at Bhaderwah Police Station focusing on reviewing crime trends, statistics, and patterns.
The SSP emphasized the importance of proactive policing, community partnership and effective use of technology to ensure public safety.
During meeting all under investigation cases of current year and the backlog cases were discussed with Investigating Officers (IOs) and necessary instructions/directions were issued to expedite investigation, ensure quality investigation and maximum disposal.
SSP Doda emphasized upon the officers to ascertain forward/backward links in NDPS cases to reach its dead end.
In UAPA cases, he directed the IOs to collect circumstantial/electronic evidences and complete the investigations on merit and submit the cases for judicial determination.
Progress on mandatory utilization of FSL services and MedleaPR was also discussed. All IOs were directed to send all MLC/post-mortem reports to the concerned Hospital through the portal and also obtain results through Ruka on MedLeaPR portal.
