SSP Jammu reviews security arrangements on Amarnath Yatra route

JAMMU, June 29: To strengthen security for the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra, SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh, today conducted a detailed review of the arrangements along the route from TCP Nagrota to Saloora.
He was accompanied by the Group Commander of NSG, SP Rural Jammu, SP Operations Jammu, SDPO Nagrota, company commanders of CRPF and CISF, and SHOs of Nagrota and Jhajjar Kotli.
The team inspected key deployment points and interacted with personnel stationed along the route.
A briefing session was also held to update officers on the latest threat assessments and standard procedures.
The SSP directed all teams to carry out daily anti-sabotage checks, especially near areas under expressway construction, which are considered sensitive.
He stressed the need for constant alertness and smooth coordination between all agencies to ensure the safety of pilgrims.
The SSP reiterated the administration’s commitment to providing a secure environment for the Yatra.
