SSP holds meet with Bank Managers, stresses for enhancing security

DODA, Feb 4: To discuss bank related security arrangements, SSP Doda Sandeep Mehta, held a meeting with Bank Managers of various Banks operating in the district and stressed that the security protocols are adhered to at each branch.
SSP emphasized the need for enhanced security measures, installation of CCTV cameras is expected to improve the overall security of bank branches and prevent crimes such as theft, robbery and fraud.
“The Police will continue to work closely with banks to ensure that these security measures are implemented effectively. The security guards should be deployed with proper briefing and maintain a 24×7 strong rooms in their respective branches,” he said.
The main objective of meeting was to increase internal security by using electronic surveillance in Bank branches as well as in ATM Machines and also identify areas which are vulnerable to theft and needs improvement in security reason.
The SSP assured the bankers of its full support and cooperation in maintaining the security and integrity of the banking system in the district.
Addl SP Doda, Shakeel Rehman, Dy SP Hqrs Doda, Ajay Anand, Viueant Singh Rana- SBI (AMCC), Arshad Qadri -Zonal Head J&K BAnk, Manoj K Sharma Chief Manager J&K Bank, Manjeet Singh Dy Manager-PNB, Nadeem Ahmed -HDFC Bank and Anjum Hussain Branch Manager-IndusInd Bank also attended the meeting.
