DODA, Mar 12: SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta sanctioned Welfare Loans of Rs. 5 lakh in favour of 10 cops of District Police Doda under the District Welfare Contributory Fund.
The welfare assistance has been approved by SSP Doda with the objective of providing timely financial support to cops for their genuine welfare needs such as self medical treatment, medical treatment of wards and next of kin and other urgent personal requirements.
Each beneficiary has been sanctioned a Welfare Loan of Rs. 50,000. The beneficiaries include personnel from different ranks of District Police Doda.
The welfare loan is recoverable in monthly instalments from the salaries of the personnel without any interest.
