DODA, Feb 7: SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta here today held a meeting of all Supervisory Officer, SHOs, IC PPs and IOs of the Doda to review the working of e-mission project including CCTNS in District Doda.
All Police Stations of the District are connected with State Database and all IIFs from are uploaded in the Core Application Software (CAS).
SSP Doda emphasised upon all the Supervisory Officer to monitor the investigation of all cases personally and use digital tool like e-Sakshya Mobile App which helps Police to record and manage digital evidence in criminal cases such as videography, photography and recording of statements to improve efficiency, transparency and accuracy in Police investigations under New Criminal Laws.
The SSP Doda directed all supervisory officers/SHOs to create maximum SIDs in each FIR so that a quality database is prepared and submitted in the court of law. It was also directed to the Supervisory Officers to fill IIFs related to investigation in CAS correctly and personally in every case.
MHCs of all the Police Stations shall pay special attention towards uploading of complaints and forms (IIF 06 to 24) in CCTNS database and also directed to get themselves registered on iGOT Karmayogi App and attend the course related to new criminal laws.
He stressed upon all the officers and investigating officers to equip themselves with the latest technology and the investigative applications already uploaded on CCTNS and implement the concept of smart policing in investigation and serve the public in a better way.
